The View Studio is committed to ensuring that all members of our community have their privacy respected at all levels. We aim to provide transparency in the way we conduct our services, including the way we use your data. The View Studio will only use your data to ensure that you are receiving the most relevant information, specific to your account with us, your class bookings & workshops and upcoming events that may be of interest.
What personal information do we hold?
When you sign up to our classes we require a basic level of information in order to provide a great class experience. Your name, address, phone number and liability waiver consent are stored within our systems following your registration with the studio.
If you have signed up to an autorenewing contract or have requested we save your payment details, your card details will be stored securely (as per PCI compliance) alongside your name, address, phone number and liability waiver consent, in our Glofox online software.
We will disclose your personal data to our service providers, including Glofox, which supplies our cloud business management platform and booking apps. Glofox is also subject to certain obligations with regard to the security of your personal data processed via the booking app.
However, your rights, as set out in this privacy statement in relation to your personal data processed through the Glofox Platform are owed to you by us, and you should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries in relation to the use of your personal data through Glofox.
What do we do with this information?
This information is stored so that in the event that we may need to contact you regarding your class, account or health & safety, we can do so in a timely manner. We will only contact you with email reminders, notifications and monthly newsletters if you have ticked the “Opt in” box at registration.
We will never share your personal data with a third party and we will never use your data in any way other than the above.
Where is my information stored?
Your personal details are stored in our booking software, Glofox, and are used as part of your personal account (as managed by you) to enable you to book into classes, workshops and courses, and, if you’ve opted in, to receive email notifications and reminders.
If you have opted in to our newsletters, your name & email address are stored in our newsletter distribution software, Mailchimp, as part of a mailing list.
Your health history forms are stored in Jotform and accessed by instructors for emergency contact information or health information specific to the class.
How can I opt out of email reminders and newsletters?
If you have opted in to our push notifications you can opt out at any time by contacting email@example.com or visiting your Glofox account, go to details and uncheck the opt in box.
You can opt out of our newsletters by clicking the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the email.
Who can I contact if I have concerns about the use or storage of my personal data?
