This roasted strawberry parfait is perfect with the berries that are starting to appear at local farm stands. You can pair it with unsweetened Greek yogurt and granola for a healthy breakfast, or team it up with some sweetened double cream or ice cream for a fresh spring dessert.
25g soft brown sugar
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Wash and hull the berries. If they’re large, cut them in half.
- Place the berries in a baking dish just large enough to accommodate them. Dot the berries with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake the berries in the hot oven for 15-20 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through. Serve warm or at room temperature.
